I'm excited to do my first event for a new grant project! I'll be reading my books to children, doing a few little art projects, and educating them about disabilities during the after school program from 2-5 at the Artvale Gallery in Oakland. I'm still looking for a few more schools and/or after school programs to complete my grant project, so if you think your children's schools would be interested in having me come and visit, read, and do a presentation about disability awareness, please let me know.
